I hope you all had the best Thanksgiving ever! Ours was quiet, spent among close family and friends, and I was able to tell each of my children that they were, always, what I am thankful for (that and no blog police telling me not to end sentences in a preposition...)

Haps!!!!

I can't believe I missed this story the other day! Wow!!!!! There's nothing that says educational money spent well than a bucket filled with duct tape and toilet paper...Read the comments. Well worth it.

Berry's interesting picks continue. Bring on the double dippers!

KOAT had a nifty idea to save money...freeze your leftovers! Damn, I was thinking of letting them sit out on the counter overnight. The cats like it better that way.

Oh, and I almost forgot....today is Black Friday, the High Holy Holiday of Retail. Get out there and do your part for the national economy and cheap crap nobody wants industry...

Ha ha. That's even worse than I thought. When you mentioned buckets and duct tape I thought the article would be about how all the ceilings leak and they never fix them. There's a leak in my daughters classroom that drips on their heads and makes puddles on the slick floor. Even with a stain on the ceiling tiles the workmen say "I don't see a leak." Well now they have a class bucket. I'm sure it'll be put to good use.

Hey, I'm a public school teacher! Where the hell is my bucket? (That's going to be my refrain for the rest of the year whenever anyone asks me to do anything).

The bucket story made my whole day.

Thank you all for your wonderful support during my week as Fixtress. I hope to do this again soon.
