I sent 7 a complaint the other day.

The story about the DLs was mis-reported a lot and upset a lot of people.

As an aside, the ABQ Ride app is great.  Between the routes and schedules and the live tracking, it's a very handy tool.  Every now and then a bus will drop off the radar, but the live tracking is immensely useful, especially if you're trying to decide which route will get you there faster (or, in the case of Rapid Ride vs. 66, at which stop to stand)

Who needs facts to get in the way of a news story?

You ask if the stations ever look this stuff up.  No. Why would they?  It's so much more fun to fear-monger (and malign the undocumented worker drivers' license program at the same time).

You're right obts.  It's almost as if the Governor sent them a story and they just ran with it.

Just like any story they get from any Dem law maker. The news stations are equal opportunity enablers.

The Governor will issue a non-apologetic correction in front of a bunch of 3rd graders for misleading the public about needing a passport to fly.....

Hey - doing some math - a developer wants $52k per unit for the Blue Moon development - I hope Debbie O'Malley tells them to shove it (politely)...

//I hope Debbie O'Malley tells them to shove it (politely)//

"Dear developer,

Please kindly shove it up your ass.  Thank you in advance for your compliance.

With warmest regards,

--D O'M."

Like that?

"where the sun doesn't shine"  is more polite than "up your ass"  - just sayin'...

So, a developer asks for some money to build on an infill lot (which a lot around here scream for) and people come up with snide comments?  What is that $8MM?  The article doesn't say, is it for a loan?  Tax break?  What?  Oh I get it, people around here either believe money just grows on trees like the Obama administration or believe people should use their own money not expecting to make a return on it.  Got it.
