What's going on, Albuquerque?
I wish we could have Janice and not Trudi in our district...
Shotsie- Tell me more about Janice. I live in District 7, but don't know much about her. I hear she is pretty moderate. Thanks.
kind of bummed about Janice's appointment - the Dem candidate this year looks good and Janice is a much more formidable foe than Cook would have been.
Patrick: Joe Monahan's blog says it all:
"Arnold-Jones has publicly split with Jay McCleskey, the controversial political guru for Mayor Berry and Guv Martinez. She ran for the 2010 Guv nod against Susana. Her appointment could help with the faction of the GOP who share her views while Jay and the gang (Hi, Darren) have to look the other way."
Anybody on McCleskey's sh*tlist is okay by me. And (from her Wiki profile): "Frustrated by backroom deals and late night finagling after the press corps went to bed, Janice brought a webcam to her committee meetings in the Legislature, and was eventually dubbed “Lady Sunlight” by the newspapers. The New Mexico Foundation for Open Government awarded her the William S. Dixon First Amendment Freedom Award. New Mexico's only conservative think tank, the Rio Grande Foundation, awarded her the Liberty Award."
