Don't any taprooms want to come down to the North Valley?  They'd make a killing if they did.  And that Chorizo song is killing me!

I think Susana is unstoppable for re-election.  She shouldn't be, but as long as the Journal keeps running photos of her visits to schools (ssssshhhhh--did someone say Omaree?), she'll get re-elected

Not North Valley really, Lita, but don't forget that Chama River is going to be opening a taproom (and restaurant??) in the old XPAC Fitness location on Central across from Duran Pharmacy...

I just imagine a cool tap room opening up somewhere along North Fourth Street.  It's just begging for some place with good beer and live music and food trucks!  Albuquerque doesn't always revolve around Nob Hill!

I hear that - and the built environment on Fourth could be really pedestrian-friendly if it ever got going!

Whoa! Adelita! That's blasphemy. Back in the day, that kind of talk would have got you banned from DCF. Someone is probably texting up Sophie or Chantal as we speak.

I predict beer wars!  Just like ye olde college days (when the drinking age was 18), except with really good beer - 50 cent La Cumbre Pints, 25 cent Alien shooters...

You think there might be a brewery bubble coming up?

Tractor Brewing is moving to 1800 N. Fourth Street.  This is their main operation from Las Lunas not the Nob Hill store.

I saw a photo of the new Tractor space's big!

My source in the Nob Hill neighborhood is very unhappy about the proposed Alien taproom location and their business plan.  Not only is the location right up against single family homes (some with children), but they claim that they will not attract any more cars trying to find parking in the area and do not plan to serve college students.  BTW, that small parking lot is technically zoned Residential, Single Family. I suggest that these guys find a better location.
