Dont get me wrong, the TSA and police were out of line, acted poorly and could/should have handled all of this badly..

But I dont understand something... you mean it is possible to fly without any ID on you at all? I've been flying a couple times a month for 5 years now.. and maybe I am just being a sheep.. but I can't really imagine how that would work in the current security system that is setup at just about every airport I have ever been too.

While I can understand (and to some extent sympathize) with the guys desire to do so... Is it really a good idea to allow that?

There did seem to be a lot of downtime between the matches, which really diminished the enthusiasm, unfortunately. I do wish they'd find a venue with better visibility. Granted, we were rockin' the cheapo seats, so what do we expect? Outside of the aerial moves, we could see almost nothing, evening if we stood. That said, the energy in the $10 seat section was so fierce and rowdy we'll do it all over again for the whole series of shows.

bummed I missed the Lucha Libre event. next time. Also on my list for this year is to see Roller Derby.

That works until we let someone on board a plane that (in hindsight naturally) we look back and say why in the world did we let that person on a plane?

Me personally.. I could care less if they want to see my ID or cross-check me on a do not fly list. I say this.. even though it just so happens I share a name with an individual who is (and rightfully so) on the do not fly list, and I have to routinely prove that I am not that person.

What it does show is the hypocrisy of the business/government community in this state. Its talking out of both sides of the mouth: on the one hand lets foster a climate of creating new jobs in NM while deregulating so that businesses can exploit NM for its own profits. It just doesnt look good for the Lieut Gov to be outsourcing when the job market is so weak. What really bothered me about the article was that the Lieut. Gov could not return the phone call himself. That is very weak indeed.
