• Early voting ends with nearly 150,000 ballots cast in Bernalillo County. Early voting Dems outnumber Republicans 3 to 2.

• No more "No Bull?" Bob Turner sells Ford dealership to its general manager.

• Wal-Mart to appeal Environmental Planning Commission's rejection of West Side store site, as the decision heads inevitably toward City Council.

• Run Wiley, run! Hunters to fan out across NM later this month in unregulated coyote hunting contest where the winner takes home an automatic rifle. Thousands protest on social media. Methinks this isn't the last we've heard on this story.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the gun shop holding the contest. They've been getting all kinds of grief and threats. Kudos to them for not backing down.

Wal-Mart is being absurd.  As the residents pointed out, there are so many on the west-side they would only be cannibalizing their own market.
