"You have to ask when they make assumptions if there is an underlying agenda you have to adjust for..."
A quote that should be recited every day in every Journalism class across the nation. Like the Pledge of Allegiance.
When I saw the title, I had a feeling it was the Specials song.
Great Fix this week, Hettie!
I wish the voting hours accommodated working people better - how hard would it be to have the voting places open from, say, 10am to 7pm, plus have Saturday hours too? (Right now its 8am - 6pm, M-F - in previous elections, they had M-S voting and night hours.) I think the person in charge doesn't understand that early voting should made easy for all working stiffs, or, maybe some subtle voting denial is going on... (as in, who me? tamper with voting hours to change the voter profile - no, no, I just set up business hours for my workers. People can just make time to vote.)
On a lighter note, I'm hoping "Gravity" will be playing on the big screen at the IMAX.... (even better - on the preview (ie, super cheap) day!)
You know who can go vote 8 am - 6 pm M-F? Operation Rescue demonstrators, that's who. They seem to have all the time in the world to stand in front of women's health care providers...
And those Union 'labor dispute' people. Don't forget them.
Oh. Wait. They are actually working/paid Non-Union employees. Sorry.
