What's going on, Albuquerque?

I have to say, the governor is heartless. After reading this article, and in particular this passage, I am outraged! The archbishop read a letter from a teenage boy thanking him for backing driver's licenses for undocumented immigrants. Without them, the boy wrote, his parents couldn't have driven him to St. Jude's in Tennessee for cancer treatment. The boy, Cesar Quesada, had since passed away. Martinez, Sanchez says, turned to him and said, "Give me a break. He's going to read a bleeding-heart letter? What the hell am I doing here?"That teenage boy was a dear friend of my daughter. He was a straight A student and had a huge heart. He battled a rare form of cancer for most of his short life, he died his senior year in high school. He was a beautiful spirited young man and I hope to honor his life by making sure this woman never gets re-elected. I read this passage to my daughter and she burst into tears saying, "Cesar was a real person." Exactly.
I think I knew that kid and his parents...sweet family. The Governor has revealed herself as a very nasty, uncaring person and I hope it wakes people up in time to do something about her.
I find it interesting how all media take such care to describe Mother Jones as a lefty, radical, extremist, don't-pay-attention-to-the-freakin'-dirty-hippies sort of site.
Susana's real nature is finally being revealed. Unfortunately, I don't think any of this will stick because the spin is in: this is some alleged far-left attack on Susana. It is also unfortunate that the local media is focusing only on Susana's calling Diane Denish a nasty word--what about the information that her campaign staffers took photos of opposition research people and people with anti-Susana bumperstickers on their cars and sent them to a friend of Susana's in the Dona Ana county DA's office and had him or her conduct NCIS research on them. That's illegal, kids.
Good point. Also, the media shies away from recorded comments that reveal how bone-ignorant La Goba is about policy and governmental structure--two years in office and she's never heard of the Commission on the Status of Women?
