  • Anyone ever been in an APS portable without air conditioning? I have and it's hell.

I'm usually pretty quick to defend the use of portable buildings to house fluctuating student populations. However, after visitiing my old haunts during the primary voting season a few months ago, seeing the same portable I was in in 1992 kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Money was spent to remove/replace playground equipment, but not a single new structure had been built to date.
