LOVE the Centennial Plate.

I LOVE the GQB thing. What a creative and positive way to address an under abundance of GLBT venues in Albuquerque.

The new license plate is gross, but it still beats the current design.

I LOVE the new plate AND the GQB initiative. And I am really happy for the Railrunner, although the prospect of switching to "SOLTrain" (one of the early contenders) made me giddy.

....burns my eyes, but I like it (new plates) better than the balloons. I wonder if a white plate, teal lettering, and yellow zia would look nicer. Anyhow, teal, or turquoise, or whatever just about goes with any color right?

Finally, anybody read this about firing Iglesias?

So here is something I don't understand--why is this Jonathan Miller (the guy with the strong reaction) writing an Albuquerque True Crime Examiner blog/article for the San Francisco Examiner? I am very confused.

I think the new plate is a little boring. But I don't like the current one, either--it looks like something you'd buy at a junky tourist shop.

The Rail Runner Rocks! Who the hell are the Rio Grande Foundation? At first glance it looks like an orgaization that is headed by someone who doesn't even live in this state, a former lobbyist and someone who likes to make lists of stuff he doesn't like and offer no solutions or alternatives. What a crock.

I agree Bret. If you happen to read any of the Rio Grande Foundation's report, you'll see they cherry pick info to support their views. Their railrunner report starts off saying it has a "mere" daily ridership of 2500. For something like this that just started up, that seems pretty damn good to me. They also think that climate change is a hoax.

I like the turquoise, but I think it will clash with the color of my car?
