Agreed. I like to think most New Mexicans just don't care. I think I'd be ecstatic for about a month if somebody just turned off my TV machine. Just don't touch my internets.

I think Soy James pegged it- we got a converter box, i still need to set it up , but most of what we watch is on-line or DVD.

Live events like sports and local news brocasts are a few reason why local tv stations still exist. Most of the rest are not real time important. And for weather get a weather radio

We can all say "so what" if we want to. But its now almost 11:00 AM. In just a few minutes The Price Is Right will be starting and all across NM people will begin freaking out and pounding the sides of their trusty RCA or Zenith while collectively screaming "Noooooooooooooooooo". So try to have a little heart people.

I'm sure all the Price is Right fans got their converter up and running asap. Can't miss someone winning " A NEW CAR!". Hopefully folks who can't watch P is R will go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather instead.

Outside? Outside is where you have to go when banging on the side of the TV doesn't work and you have to leave the house and crawl up on the roof to kick that big wire thingy on the chimney.
