What's going on, Albuquerque?
I don't understand how a well-meaning, but probably very well connected teen has gotten two TV stories to cover her vanity project of hiking 200 miles in NM for hunger. Yeah, it's great that she's raising money, but I don't see her inspiring others to join her in this hike, or actually getting involved with the folks in need. This just seems like a resume building project for college.
That light on Alvarado just takes forever to turn off. I talked to Diane Gibson about having a bicyclist button with much shorter time, so we'll see what happens at the intersection.
On my list of people in Albuquerque to find fault with, a teenager who raises $6,000 for the Storehouse is pretty much at the bottom of the list. If only more of our teens (or adults) took time for that kind of "vanity project."
