• All this rain apparently has its ups and downs. (The lede for the second story is a pretty big bait-and-switch, though...it sounds like a good chile year is actually in store).
  • And it sounds like the moisture could help keep a new bark beetle infestation in check. Fingers crossed for lots of winter snow!
  • Were all the tiny-sample polls the Journal's majority-owned polling company released last week a bit fishy to you? Benito Aragon thought so...here's his skeptical take on things.
  • Sounds like there were fireworks at this weekend's Mayoral debate (personally, I'm having a hard time concentrating on anything besides that amazing backdrop!)
  • Finally, the New York Times has been spending a lot of time on NM-themed stories lately, but this one ramps the intimate detail up to 11.

Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed the tiny samples on those polls.  On the Bosque poll it was something like 480 people?  Out of a city of 800,000?  Not to mention that those were a)people with a landline and b)people with a landline and no caller ID.
