Let's see - $600,000 / 150 employees = $4000 per employee (eventually, er, maybe, if all 150 get hired).  I hope ABQ didn't pay Canon upfront (okay, wishful thinking on my part...)

I'll bet you'll see a lot of face-saving compromises come just before Oct 21th...

Lots of "no responses" from Jose Orozco - http://vote-nm.org/intro.aspx?state=nm&id=nmorozcojose

(maybe because he's really a dead painter - http://arthistory.about.com/cs/namesoo/p/orozco.htm )

Whoa, I am shocked!  A driver charged with vehicular homicide for killing a cyclist?  What is this world coming too?  Everyone knows it's always the cyclist's fault in any crash anywhere.

Re: The funds Canon is getting from the local governments.  This was in the Business First article.

There’s a catch: “If they [Canon] don’t fulfill the jobs requirement, then they pay it back,” she said.

I think the Health Exchange will start catching up with individuals soon. It's been tough for people to get on the site for those ready to sign up. Plus maybe workshops might be offered to help those who need advise or computer access. Would be great if the local libraries offered these.

Well, since no one else is going to say it, I will.

Congratulations Mayor Berry on your reelection. The first ever majority win, if you believe the news.
