Fantastic week of Morning Fix!  Thanks for plugging The Vagina Monologues!  I'll be reading the part of the Angry Vagina if anyone wants to come and see!

Clovis is pretty much Texas anyway, right?

49 mpg on my bike vs 15 in the Jeep or 26 in the Matrix. The decision is easy if the weather is good.

Or infinite mpg on a bicycle!  :)  Wonderful week, Masshole!

Spencer has been making a resurgence on the PGA tour lately.  The last couple of years after leaving UNM he became kind of a head case on the course.  IIRC, he did lose his tour card for a couple of years.  In the golf world he is most widely known for urinating next to the 8th green at Pebble Beach (one of our countries most well known and respected courses) during the California State Amateur Championship tournament.

Hopefully he has learned to get over his mental problems on the course and play the game.  He is a fantastic ball striker and can earn a lot of dollars if he does so.

Gas would have to be unobtanium for me to quit driving. Riding a bike, motorized or not, in this City will kill ya.

And driving will kill everyone else.  So if higher gas prices means fewer people driving, I'm not too upset about it.  So there you go, Gonzo - less traffic, less smog, less demand for parking, and less chance that some prick will T-bone you while texting from his road-legal assault tank at 60 mph.  Thank us later.

This is a parking problem, I'd love to see ABQ have.

Higher gas prices is exactly the fix we need to get more people using and funds going to public transportation.

I'd feel a whole lot safer on my bike if there were fewer cars around. I'm with Benny on this.

Perhaps being a pedestrian would be safer too if those "sidewalk bikers" would move to the streets where they belong.

We'd be a whole lot healthier if we walked or biked more place under safer circumstances.

As my primary care physician told me the other day "Americans are getting lazy, fat and stupid"
