What's going on, Albuquerque?
The murals a beautiful! What a great project!
Yeah, I am not sure what was going through Sec'y Squier's head, but it sure wasn't anything good. Maybe she was just trying to support Steve Pearce's decision to vote to slash food stamp benefits?
So that story about the lost hikers doesn't mention whether the dogs were okay...
It may take a while for the Anasazi Building to fill up, but let's be thankful that it is finished. Having the outside of the building completed helps the overall look of downtown tremendously.
I agree completely, DCMc. Downtown retail seems to be in another rough patch so hopefully Anasazi can spark a little activity. Fingers crossed they can get it rented out...
I've sceen great art up and down the Rail Runner tracks from Belen to Santa Fe. It's New Mexico and the scenery including the art along a railroad track could be the ultimate salvation of the train. It's the kind of thing that, overtime, becomes a part of the conversation and draws tourists. Some of the art could be contracted out but should be homemade, spur of the moment, offbeat and it should dominate.
