Morning Fix: Popping Some Wheelies
- APD gets an "A" from Police Chief Ray Schultz.

- A Schott Solar spokesperson says they are finalizing a deal for a new company to effectively take over Schott's lease. Maybe the new company can re-hire the 250 people that were laid off.
- If you are going to the State Fair, be aware of the parking changes.

I'm not sure that a CEO should grade his own product, or a police chief his own force. When teachers are graded, as happens regularly, they are graded on statistical information -- not good either because figures lie. But an A for the APD seems excessive given the likelihood of a major snafu at any time. The chief should give himself some wiggle room.

Parking will be free at the fair, but they "encourage" people to ride the bus or take a shuttle, which costs $. Hmm.....
