What's going on, Albuquerque?

I'm not a lawyer either. Do any lawyer types know if UNM has a case? I'm glad to hear that the team will largely stay in tact. Also, I love the headline: "Where Fashion Dies: The 10 Worst Dressed Cities." I probably fit into that category well. :) Thanks for the great Morning Fix!
I'm proud to contribute to Burque's worst-dressed status.
A case for what, Krista? You mean whether they can get the new buyout amount? I'm not a lawyer, but I do know the discussion will center on when his new contract really went into effect and when that buyout number went into effect.
That fashion "survey" is stupid, though. They based their results entirely on how many high-end jewelry, clothing and shoe stores were in a town. They also counted tailors and alterations shops. Everyone knows that you don't have to have expensive clothes, shoes and accessories to look good.
In the early '80s I spent some time in Louisville where I was supporting a computer system at Colgate across the river. I still drink Rebel Yell.
Only people who buy clothes at high end stores dress well? NO WAY! Us Burquenos have a style all our own. Excuse me while I go iron my "dress" jeans!
It's probably not good to be proud of not knowing something, like when you are watching Jeopardy and you are absolutely proud not to know any of the current TV shows or the names of the new breed of country singers? The same phenomena is at work with clothes. Who needs to keep up with fashion -- not the city at the end of the world.
