Interesting way to stage a palace coup at UNM..... (You're very sick, Mr President, I advise immediate bed rest - but don't worry, we'll take care of business while you're gone... More koolaid??.)

Unions are way out of control these days. Hurting businesses that have nothing to do with the original issue just because they can.

You'd think that if you're referencing some other media report, you could spell Schmidly's name right. And maybe not kick a guy when he's down.

You're right Carolyn. I should have checked the spelling of his name. I usually do that. Sorry for the spelling error, and I'll fix it.

But I have to say I am not kicking "a guy when he's down." He is a public figure who has taken UNM in a direction not supported by virtually the entire academic staff of the university. What I did was attempt to make light of a situation in which everybody expects Schmidly to recover fully. If there was any doubt whatsoever of that, I would not have made the remarks. There was certainly no ill will intended...just poking a little fun at a couple of situations much on the public mind. Thanks for sticking up for him, though. It's nice to see some sensitivity in the comments section! :-)
