I've been a fan of Elise's Live Journal blog for years. She's great.

Funny how that story on Gold Avenue makes no mention of the Leinberger Lofts.

I'm awfully excited about that Conor Oberst show. I drove up to Taos to see him in October, and he's definitely worth seeing again.

Any idea who's booking these big indie rock shows? Kind of exciting...

Last time Modest Mouse played at the Kiva they seemed sort of "put out" to be in such a non-rock venue....hmmmm wonder what made them book there again, unless they are going to be in one of the big ball rooms instead? Anyone have the scoop? It says on the tour page "convention center" which I can only assume is the Kiva...

When shows are booked at the Kiva, they are almost always billed as being at the Kiva... the "Convention Center" no doubt means in one of the big concrete rooms, which is definitely not an improvement.

What are the Leinberger Lofts?
