• Something to give thanks for!
  • This lawyer is giving thanks to UNM.
  • I doubt Ruby Ethridge is thankful for this reassignment.
  • My personal word of thanks - I am ever so grateful and thankful for the wonderful Duke City Fix community and all the wonderful friends I have met either personally or virtually through this site. We are an interesting group with a wide variety of opinions. We should all be thankful for living in the coolest, funkiest, and most fabulous city in the world. Whether you call it the Duke City, Albuquerque, Burque, or even the "Q", I salute and give thanks to my hometown for always providing us with such wonderful stories! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Just enough snow to cover the trampoline. The kids love it.

My wife and I had a discussion this very morning about trying to find a way to get to Albuquerque. Jobs and houses and financial obligations are such that we're hoping to move there (move back for me, I lived there for several years and traveled there constantly for many more) in the coming years, though some things will have to
fall into place, but we're working toward it. In the meantime, we appreciate The Fix for keeping us up to date on the goings on political, cultural, and philosophical as well as providing a good overview of what's happening. I'm jealous of the snow, however, since here in SanAntonio (Texas) it's muggy and warm with nothing like Fall weather happening.
