Puts some perspective on who are the uber rich earning more than $200K (albeit before deductions) and aren't paying their "fair share".

Just to clarify, Albuquerque already has runoffs. As things stand now, though, someone can avoid a runoff and be declared the winner of an election in the first round if they get the most votes and capture more than 40% of the vote total. The proposed changes would require a candidate to get more than 50% of the vote before being declared the winne

Really? $200k is uber rich? As the owners of three small businesses in New Mexico, I can tell you that my wife and I pay more than our fair share especially when you factor in this State's obscene GRT.

Of course, it's all a matter of perspective.   My guess is that you must be making money at those businesses, or you'd close up shop and avoid the annoyance of those taxes...

What? The dean of medicine makes more than the football coach and the basketball coach. That must be an error.

Of course we make money because we manage expenses against income. We're not the Government,you know. With regards to GRT, I don't know of s single business owner that says, "I wish I paid more taxes."
