It's nice to know the City is so flush that we can continue to subsidize personal jets for millionaires.  The latest is on top of the millions that were spent creating infrastructure for an aerospace complex at Double Eagle II (Eclipse 1.0).  I wonder how much that Tesla battery factory will cost us?

The money given to Eclipse pays for training the newly hired workers, so it's not a direct subsidy to the 1%.  The 1% will shower us with money from 40k feet, promise...

Tesla will probably get the same deal, but it looks like Northern Nevada is in the hunt, so the pot will be sweetened...  Still, 2000 jobs is a pretty good deal.

Shotsie, I hope we get transparency on exactly who those newly hired workers are.  Last time around Eclipse 1.0 did a lot of hiring out of Wichita, as in experienced aircraft assemblers.
