Yay, I had my baby! February 21st at 2:53 AM, my little Kaden Zachary came into the world. I had a home birth, and I was only in labor for 7 hours with no complications for me or him. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 14 oz and 19 3/4" long.

I am still recovering, which has been fairly rough, but am totally thankful that I didn't have to deal with any medical interventions, and that I've been able to be home since his birth.

Breastfeeding has been quite the adventure, but I am committed to sticking with it, despite the pain and leakage.

Erik and I are totally in love and thrilled to have "made" such a beautiful baby. What a change to our lives, but I am so thankful.
