Playing with the Toys on Old Route 66

"You can get a lot farther with a kind word and a gun than a kind word alone."
Al Capone

Today I took the Goldwing out for a run along old route 66. It was really windy and as usual, no one around. So I took out my toy to play a bit. This weekend I am going to Juarez for a little visit, I will be packing, my camera that is.

A Man is Grounded.
My Life had stood -- a Loaded Gun --
In Corners -- till a Day
The Owner passed -- identified --
And carried Me away --

Carried Me Away
Hope the gun he holds
Will do what it is told

Swiftly, suddenly a burp is sounded.
A bullet, a gasp, a fall, a man is grounded.

The gun had done his work.
All with one little burp.

For some reason this post and the pictures, make me think of a Marty Robbins song. I mean that in the best possible way.
