The Albuquerque Journal (New Mexico's Leading 'News' Source) discontinued its SPEAK UP Opinion Feature last October, just one week before they announced several staffing cuts. Today they announced, "You have called, written and emailed how much you loved the Speak Up feature on the Editorial Page, and how much you miss it since it was dropped. We agree that, at 50 words each, it’s a great way to get a snapshot of what folks in our community are thinking about. What prompted us to discontinue publishing it was that while many readers say they loved to read it, not enough “spoke up” and provided pithy comments." I'm sure the decision had nothing to do with staffing, or the cratering crediblity and approval ratings of Republican El Presidente Trump, Republican Governor Susana Martinez, & Republican Hizzoner Richard Berry! #Kakistocracy
'LET PRESIDENT Trump do his job. He is our president. We need to let him concentrate on jobs and everything we as Americans deserve. Our media and politicians need to show him respect; 'WE' are making our president look like a joke... LB'
On the other hand, its nice to see Senator Heinrich takes his oath to the U.S. Constution, more seriously then some others!

Joe Monahan from NM Politics points out how Gov. Martinez dissed both President Trump and Brian Krzanich!
"You must wonder what Susana was thinking when she saw the White House photo of the Intel CEO and the President announcing a plant expansion in our neighboring state of Arizona. There stood two of Susana's most famous disses. The first, the Intel CEO, who back in 2011 had a meeting in California with Susana canceled so she could pick up an award from the Republican Party. The second, Donald Trump, who she failed to endorse or show up at his New Mexico rally. These gentleman really are two bookends on the Martinez administration and frame her failed approach. In the end, New Mexico loses due to her arrogance. And what the hell were state economic development secretary Jon Barela and his deputy, Barbara Brazil, the much-vaunted team of former Intel executives, doing the last six years? As they say, payback is a bitch."
I still have the bad feels President Pence will select her as VP!
She sure changed her tune after that, but I honestly can't figure out whre she stands, on anything! She'd be a great POTUS!
Martinez said a few weeks ago she was stopped outside a movie theater by a young boy who asked if his mother, who came to America when she was 5, was going to be deported. “I said, ‘Look, why don’t you let us grown-ups worry about things like that?” Martinez said “. She has been here a very, very long time and hopefully the grown-ups are going to come up with ideas that are going to make sure we’re never splitting up your mom from you.’”
U.S. Senator Heinrich "I want answers about the reorganizations of the National Security Council to include Steve Bannon -
my letter to @DeptofDefense"
The Anti-Defamation League has long identified anti-Semites and racists who lurk on the Internet and in underground hate groups. Five days after the presidential election, it condemned a leaderof that corner of the internet who is about to be in the White House. “The ADL strongly opposes the appointment of Steve Bannon as senior advisor and chief strategist in the White House,” the organization wrote about one of President-elect Donald Trump’s first choices for his new team. “It is a sad day when a man who presided over the premier website of the ‘alt-right’ — a loose-knit group of white nationalists and unabashed anti-Semites and racists — is slated to be a senior staff member in the ‘people’s house.’ ”
Recently, it was reported that 48 Jewish centers have experienced bomb threats and other anti-Semitic incidents.
The question followed a similar question Trump received at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday. In his response then, Trump never directly addressed the issue of anti-Semitism. He started by boasting about his Electoral College victory (which he misrepresented):
As week four of the Trump Presidency comes to a tumultous close, and the President heads to Florida for the first big rally of the 2020 election, I already need to refocus on my self care routine, get back on the AM Yoga Track, eating a protein packed breakfest, talking Blanket on a long morning walk, working out, writing, and most importantly not check my phone to see that day's breaking news! I am going to try harder to embrace my inner chingona! Embrace your inner chingona.
