It woulda been so easy to stay home in the warm - and dry - house - but we had to get out and it was peaceful and calm - beautiful colors.

I recognize where you were from the top photo. It is a beautiful area to hike in, I never get tired of it.

Today was very unusual weather...we had driving rain, hail, mixed snow, and even had the sun come out. I was snug-as-a-bug in my house. I really enjoyed being home all day, it almost never happens.

I've heard of the Sanida mountain range, very remote, hidden away in central New Mexico.......

Our hike started on the trails at the end of Copper The first picture is looking west. The second picture is looking NNW.

I hear there was a study done on the people that live in the Sanidas - the Nacerima but that was long ago!
