San Francisco artists Mati Rose McDonough and Hugh D'Andrade came to town at the start of the New Year to paint this playful & kid friendly Monster mural in our Main Gallery. On opening night a local performance duo, The Church Animals, set up their casios and guitars for a quick set of equally playful tunes. This video shows the mural in the making, set to one of The Church Animal's stickiest tunes.

This eve, Friday Jan 16th, is the Old Town ArtsCrawl. Just like every 3rd Friday of the month, The Harwood's four galleries will be open for your viewing pleasure. Stop be between 6 - 8 pm to check out:

1) The Monster on the wall, and other colorful paintings/illustrations in our Main Gallery;
2) San Pedro de Burque's powerful mixed media pieces and merch in our Front Gallery;
3) West Mesa High's incredibly talented spread of student work in our Upstairs North and South Galleries.
