If someone starts a defense fund for "rainbow artist" I'd donate to it.

I like the rainbow graffiti but he should have done my house.

Oh for HEAVEN'S SAKE!!!!! The grafitti artist is being held on a $40,000 bond? WTF? Oh, yeah, what a good use of resources to lock up some dude who actually made the city look better--why not release him and make him work to clean up his so-called mess? Meanwhile, another guy wanted for murder gets to cruise out of jail on a $2500 bond.

That Anasazi joint is an eyesore just sitting there half-built. I don't believe for a minute that it cost $40,000 to cover up the paint--and why did they bother? The rainbow paint made it look quite nice. Oh, and need I mention that the jerkoid who was "developing" the Anasazi site is apparently charged with fraud...and not in jail?

In my opinion Anasazi is going to be an even worse eyesore when its actually finished. That building looks hideous even in the artists renderings, which are always more pleasant than the finished product.

It's definitely not vandalism in my opinion. Really it seems like Darren White thinking he needs to flex on people to prevent "gang" grafitti, which this is not. I agree with OBTS in saying this art made the city look better.

I sent a link to this story to Banksy this morning. Hopefully he is careful if he ever comes through ABQ. They might try to fund the downtown arena with his bond if they catch him.;)

Juan. You're "opinion" is wrong.

Nice. What's it like to live in your world, Granjero?
