• This sounds uplifting ... Check out the Return of the Sandhill Cranes Festival this Saturday and Sunday at the City of Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center. Origami, nature walks, tai chi with the cranes and tons more.
  • This sounds tough ... Gwar. Friday at the Sunshine Theater. Disclaimer: If you don't know anything about Gwar probably not the show for you.
  • This sounds creative ... The Weems Artfest runs Friday through Saturday at Expo New Mexico. Check it out. In its 28th year, Weems will honor world-renowned sculptor Betty Sabo.
  • SOLD OUT! This sounds lovely ... The theatrical version of the Rudolfo Anaya's beloved "Bless Me, Ultima" runs Friday through Sunday at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.
  • This sounds interesting ... The Mashup Test, Friday night at Blackbird Buvette - "a celebration of all things musical and dance-worthy." Know of other happenings in Albuquerque this weekend? Feel free to post in the comments.

Gotta flip a coin for tonight. GWAR! at The Sunshine or High School Football playoffs at Wilson (Cibola vs. Eldorado)...

There was a GWAR sighting at the Sunshine just a bit ago. Also, "Bless Me, Ultima" is sold out. Which is wonderful for the play and for the National Hispanic Cultural Center but sad for all of us that didn't get tickets!

Have a great weekend everyone!
