We don't usually do the Sunday morning doughnut thing, but I was interested in checking this place out. It is located in the South Valley Economic Development Center and it is called
the the Zombie Cafe so how could I resist.

The drive from our house is short and takes us past Tingley Field. There were two baseball games going at 9:00 when we drove by.

We enjoyed all of the flavors, I liked the Chai and essp, maple bacon best. The doughnuts had a nice texture were not too sweet.

Zombie Cafe is good addition to the area. Sadly, no brain themed foods but maybe later.

What a great mural! They told me it was done by students from a local charter high school. The plaque with their names should be up soon. I recognized Cesar Chavez and "El Senador" Dennis Chavez in it. The "veggie ladies" are of course the "three sisters" of native American cuisine: corn, beans, and squash.

This place is great! I love the doughnut variety and creative flavors. The maple espresso bacon doughnut is the perfect breakfast flavor combo. They also serve good coffee. There's more than just doughnuts on the menu as well. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Yes, 8-3 Monday-Friday and 9-3 on Sunday.
