hola, it's eddie from tio tito's. still cooking up a storm, but not for a living. i just moved back to Las Vegas and work at City Center. i've posted some recipes on facebook, so if you ever go on there, do a friend request and then click on my friend "freckled chef" and my recipes are on her notes.
Hey, Andrea. Thanks for the kudos on the taco trailer article. Maria is a fabulous person and the taqueria is truly a place to tele-transport to Mexico and the Camino Real. Have you tried it out? If not, the tacos de lengua are mis favoritos!
it makes me sad to hear you describe PL that way, ben. i remember a time when you encouraged me to come work there because it was such a great place, run by incredible folks. knowing how much has changed, now i figure that i dodged a bullet by getting passed over when i finally applied.
Sigh, the Bice fold... the gang seems to be gathering. I have sold my soul to the State and am now working for the Supreme Court. It's an awesome position but not quite as blood, sweat and smiles as PL.
JJ is looking to expand into a new venture. Have you heard?
Oh yes, the restaurants here are TO DIE FOR. It's by far one of the best things about Dallas... along with the jaw-dropping people-watching, of course. ;-)

Next time I'm too absorbed to notice you, throw rocks at me.

You must tell me all JJ news you get, since I get it here and there but not nearly often enough!
I hope all is well with you....
Are you bumming as much as I am about Ambrozia closing? Got any scoop on the Nob Hil Bar & Grill?
