That's right. Then again, I just came back from D.C. where the cyclists on the paths are pretty aggressive. I almost wanted to ride on the streets where the cars gave me a modicum of respect. I particularly enjoyed the porky dude who barreled past me on the Mount Vernon bike path in a highly congested area (at the end of the National airport runway, where families gather, oddly enough, to picnic and have their hearing ruined by jets), screaming as if in a horror movie, "LEFT!!!" I almost jerked to the left to see if someone was being decapitated.
Ok, Benny, you'll have to show me how you embedded that Yahuda Moon comic, I could only figure out how to link to it. I'd have asked you in that thread, but JMG was a little upset about all the of topic posts.
Oh, there are tons of them out there. Rootin', tootin' gunslingin' saviors of the common citizenry. I stayed fairly clear from the discussion, but I finally had enough of Paul7 and his damned self-serving studies he keeps linking to.
Straight No Chaser-a 10 voice acappella male vocal ensemble started in Indiana years ago in college. They decided to get together again recently and are making a huge splash everywhere they sing these days. I heard them in SF a few weeks ago. :-)
