yes and yes! I'm very excited! The Museum was good for me, but it was time to move along, and NDI is pretty darn awesome! I've been so busy that I haven't seen any of my beloved DCF friends in a LONG time! I miss you! How's the family??
There's a baby octopus? And they have cuttlefish again? I'm so there!
And I thought of YOU the other day, writing to a certain Ms. Nason in the planning department, noodling for info on a registered place that was the Fez Club back in the day. (She forwarded me, and I got some leads from Ed...someone.)
hey! they are asking for any donation that you feel is possible, but it is not strictly for people who want to donate. It is also an info event to learn more about what they are doing and why. also, a place for people who grow food from all over to get together and share their experiences.
last year they had a table with handmade crafts, jewelry, and jamaica tea.
it was so fun! i hope you come!
hey maggie,
I immediately thought of you when I saw this on icanhascheezburger. hope you and your bunch are well! maybe we'll see you at market one of these saturdays.
Thank you, Mombat for keeping in touch. It was just Dolores and I and we had a great time talking and discussing our ongoing projects. When you can come, bring some of the things you're working on or plan to work on. Every crocheter has baskets of yarn with wishes on them, don't they?
Hey! We ended up going out for lunch with Heather's mom and then ran out of time before the customary Sunday-afternoon errands. Sorry we missed it, and thanks for the tickets!
Our chicken girls seem happy. They are munching on beet leaves. Two of them lay green eggs and the others lay brown eggs. Makes for a lovely basket. I have just ordered "nesting pads" from Chickwagon in Socorro.
thanks mombat! he's a cutie, even if he's driving us crazy at the moment. after almost 2 months of learning how to be a well-behaved, beloved dog, he's going through sort of a relapse period in which he's trying to challenge his position in the family by acting like a little jerk. we've dusted off the "new puppy training techniques" and he's suddenly remembered who's the boss (or bosses, in this case). are you sure you guys don't need a new dog? ;)
I sure do appreciate you getting with me on this house. I love Martineztown. But they are looking for a much less expensive starter home to live in while they finish w/school.
you know that I think you and your whole family are AWESOME! I don't know how "adult" the show will be, but I'll ask....because I think you should bring the girls! There will definately be more glitter and rhinestones than most people get to see in a lifetime (sans those of us in burlesque....and drag queens! HAHA!)
I think we are going to have to get hard wood floors installed. The concrete is damaged, and in order to put the stain down and have it look half way decent we would have to put a skim coat of concrete down first. That's just too much work and investment and time.
Everything is going ok. I'm a little depressed with Dom being away so I have been dragging my butt a little with the painting, but it's coming along slowly but surely. LOL
How are you doing? How was the birthday party?
Thanks! I'm glad you've enjoyed us at the Farmers Market! It is definitely one of our favorite places to play. You can't beat it for an awesome place to hang out on a nice Saturday morning! My mouth just waters at the thought of getting some local harvested honey soon. If you get a chance, come check us out at the South Broadway Cultural Center this Sunday!
