Neal, I just love the diversity of shows you bring to Albuquerque. I saw Jack Williams at the Lomas Tramway Library a few weeks back, and saw Laurie Anderson the last time she was at the Kimo,...WOW! Thanks!
Jenny Lewis! Ani! Anais! Metric! Xx! Kaki King! I know these are steep demands, but these are some artists/bands I'm dying to see/see again! and only you have the magical ability to bring them... :) Thanks as always, Neal!!
I've made you (along with a number of other musically connected people) an administrator in the Music Lounge group. I figured since I'm not very active, I might as well pass the torch to people who are.
Neal - we must have crossed paths on Friday! I had a meeting in the NHCC and walked through the courtyard as two men were setting up for the Hassan Hakmoun show. Too bad there is no way for DCFixers to identify each other from afar...
Thanks for bring such good and varied music to Albuquerque!
Neal, that show was incredible. It's exactly the kind of thing Albuquerque needs. We've got some great local bands, but some of the bigger acts like the caliber of Wilco will help draw others in and generate momentum.
I can't thank you enough for all that you're doing for the music scene here in town. Much love.
I too hope the BD gets it together. And serves good breakfast all day! yeah man, what's up with that grocery? I've been in three times since they reopened and found the deli empty, the shelves mostly empty, and the produce selection dismal...I so want to support local business and walk to places like that but man, it's just not happening. arg. I'll keep my eyes open for another reopening at BD - let me know if you see anything!
Hey Neal - nice to meet you, and thanks for making the Tapia/Woods tickets available. My sister and I dug both performers, it was a happy night all around...sure I'll see you around. peace. vashti

The show last night was great! And the venue was beautiful. We're looking forward to Lila Downs.
