UNM Alums can use Gym and Recreation Programs

UNM Alumni are entitled to use the exercise and recreation facilities and programs at UNM.

Someone asked a question on DCF recently about affordable/flexible health club alternatives. This affordable/flexible solution is limited to UNM Alumni, but is a great benefit if the situation fits you.

The process is relatively simple. First, you need to go to Alumni Relations to verify your alumni status. Second, go to the Rec Services desk at Johnson Gym and get your Rec Card (details follow), then get engaged with the programsof your choice.

2008 Summer Schedule

To SIGN UP for a Rec Card:
  • Alumni must go to the UNM Alumni Relations Office - Records Dept. located in Hodgin Hall.
  • A picture I.D. is required for Alumni Verification.
  • Alumni Verification statement will be emailed to Johnson Center.
  • Alums must then go to Johnson Center to pay for and obtain the actual REC Card.
  • Pay $25.00 per month or purchase a 6-month membership for $150.00.
