I Promised You Rain

So, okay, maybe that sprinkle on my windshield doesn't count as a true downpour from this rain goddess, but I did deliver on the sweet double rainbow that arched over the city this afternoon. And I'm here until Saturday, so I still have time.

In other news, I seem to have bought a house and gotten a job. So if the inspection on my property in NY comes back clean tomorrow (please, please, please, please), the moving van picks up my junk on July 28th, and we should arrive in this fair city around August 4th. Cue Etta James "At Last."

Comment by Lucky on July 11, 2008 at 6:07pm: Mombat - I don't want the climate to change, so I'll try to hold my powers in check. It really is uncanny, though - every single time I've come to Albuquerque, it has rained significantly. I have no idea if I can actually handle the dry climate!

Cory Atchley - I'm flying out Saturday morning, so I take no responsibility for what happens after that. Looks like we'll be back for good the first week of August. No word on the inspection yet, but as it's well after five in NYC, I guess no news is good news!

Barelas Babe - sorry. Tell you what, though - I'm going to the Isotopes game tonight, so I'll have it taper off now.
