Leaves

So I called the magic number 311 and asked when the city picks up leaves and yard waste. "Twice a year". Huh?
Ok, in all fairness, I have heard this before, but I guess I was hoping the times had changed. "Let me look that up for you." Fingers crossed, I was hoping for an October pick-up, but November is ok. "The next pick up is scheduled for December."

Excuse me? I am pretty sure there is this season called Fall or Autumn...it's when the leaves fall off the trees. No offense, but this seems so ridiculous to me. I am used to bringing green waste to Soilutions, but in all honesty, sometimes I wonder if the drive is worth it. And then I click my heels, and I am there, so I guess it is.
