It's too late but I still believe that a $2 Sunday edition, a scaled down staff and investment in their website could of saved the Trib... lamentable conundrum of an afternoon daily.

Comment by Mary Schmidt on January 1, 2008 at 10:10am: I agree with bleve. Too bad, so sad. I'd love a big Sunday paper with interesting content relative to my state, city and 'hood. It'd also be great to have an online pub with quality content and thoughtful insights (even if I didn't necessarily agree with that insight. We've got to have debate before we can have resolution. Of course, I'm also a big believer in free speech. Go figure. )
