The Youth Rights Group at the SouthWest Organizing Project is showing this film at the Guild on Tuesday night, April 15th.
Arlington West is about Iraq soldiers, over a 100 of them, who were interviewed in transit to and from Iraq. One of the primary focus areas of SWOP youth is to educate high school students about the realities of war, and the ramifications of military service. They spend a lot of time talking with young people at area high schools about the alternatives that exist to joining the military, and this documentary is an outgrowth of this work. It's also a fundraiser for their program. See details on the flier below...hope to see you all there!
