PLEASE! what is up with all these deluded people here and in texas? just because you do something in the name of religion does not make it morally or ethically acceptable.

and his son said last night on TV that his dad isn't on a hunger strike or anything, he just refuses to eat the prison food or drink their water for some other health reason. it isn't a protest.

Comment by once banned twice shy on May 9, 2008 at 10:11am: Speaking of the speeding crackdown--anyone else here notice that NO ONE pays any attention to the reduced speed limit through the construction zone on I-40 eastbound? It's a freakin' joke. Here I am, the only person poking along at 45 mph and everyone is passing me at mach speeds. I don't even know why they bother posting a reduced speed limit.

Comment by Phil_0 on May 9, 2008 at 5:12pm: Not if you go in the off-season and rent a house on the beach, away from the main part of town...if you do that, Rocky Point is actually a pretty fun, cheap, laid-back place to spend some relaxing time in the warm water.
