Something pretty missing.

So, what is up with the banner add that is now 3+ days old taking over the local photographers space on the main page?

As a local photographer who loves looking at everyone else's work i find it a sad thing to miss in my morning/noon/evening/midnight check of ye olde DCF

Sure i can go to http://flickr.com/groups/dukecityfix/pool/ and see them but its not the same!

Permalink Reply by Susan See on May 19, 2008 at 11:15pm: If you're referring to the Porque Burque banner advertising the show that opened on the 16th, it's not old in that the show goes for the next two weeks, culminating on the 31st with a craft fair at the gallery.

I see nothing wrong with advertising the very first DCF artist show collaborating with the Verb Gallery at the top of the DCF main page for a mere couple of weeks when the Flickr banner has been up consistently for well more than two weeks. And incidentally, yes I am a local photographer and yes I am in the Verb show so sure I'm a bit biased.

But even if I wasn't in the show I still see nothing wrong with the current banner.; ▶ Reply to This

You were at the opening? how the hell did I miss ya fella? Boy my head was just swimming with all the faces I hadn't seen in ages and gabbing with all the new faces.
