Duran's green chile enchiladas, pho and some pork spring rolls from Asian Noodle Bar, a pizza from Golden Crown Panaderia, pork sandwich and a sesame ball from Lee's Bakery, mixed berry pancakes from Sophia's Place, Sleeping Dog Stout brownie from Marble and while at Marble I would wash this all down with a Sleeping Dog Stout or one their Browns.
I better give this one a go.... I would start with the huevos rancheros from Sophia's Place and move directly into the #1 sandwhich from Lee's Bakery. A nice steaming bowl of menudo from the the Taqueria on Lomas would do nicely at that point. A green chile and cheese pizza from Golden Crown, mmmmmm. What the hell, its my last meal throw in a Lotaburger with everything on it. I don't think I would be full quite yet, so I might go for a bowl of Tom Yum from Asian Noodle Bar. With all that food, God knows I would need something to wash it all down with. Thats where the Microbar would come in handy for a couple of pints of Jackalope IPA!
ahh the kobe burger at nob hill bar and grill. it's not kobe, its wagyu, hence the quotation marks on the menu. as for the foi gras on it? not foi gras but pate de foi gras which means you're only getting about 50% liver. not a bad copy of Boulud's burger. i know i'm being a food snob, but if you put "foodie" items on your menu your asking for it.
my last burque meal would certainly be at the frontier.
Dude, Nob Hill Bar and Grill sucks! I went once and the service was HORRIBLE. They wanted to know the freaking number next to, not the name of the wine, it took so long (45min) to get a drink (she did give it to me for free- yet, I just wanted my drink, not a free one), the food sucked (we had nearly all the appetizers and none of them held up to their description.
Sorry for the rant but the comment about how its not kobe OR foi gras reminded me of the horrors.
