Real Estate Agents for First Time Homebuyers

Hi all,

My husband and I are about to take the leap and buy a house in ABQ. We want to find a good real estate agent who will be patient and take us through all the steps. Someone who will be understanding that we are picky about certain things. Someone who won't show us a bunch of houses out of our price range or location needs.

So, who would you recommend? and why?

Oh, and we are looking in the Uptown/UNM area in case you were wondering.

KC was our agent and walked us through the whole process and didn't give us a problem when our price range suddenly dipped down (we didn't get what we thought for our place here). She just helped us find a great place and was there every step of the way.

I knew very little about home buying when I first started talking to LaMaia about purchasing. She took a ton of time with me and explained everything in detail.
She never tried to sell me anything I didn't want, and took the time to find me exactly what I wanted in my price range. She also stuck by me when the home of my dreams turned into a horrible nightmare and resulted in months and months of waiting before ultimately losing it. Eventually all the hard work paid off and i have a great house that I love a whole lot.
