I've been running around town for a month now and just purchased the Nike Plus system. Wow. I'm blown away at how this device tracks your pace/distance/speed. Here's a route I've been running called the Barelas Run. In the middle of the route, I hit the stairs at the National Hispanic Cultural Center.

When I move out to ABQ I will be sure to run this route!

I am a decidely low-tech runner but this system sounds interesting. I switched to the Nike Free 5.0 about eighteen months ago and love the feel of no support for the foot.

Hey Jeremy, do you use the sportband or the ipod? I was just wondering if one is better than the other. Also, could you tell me what web site you found the Barelas Run? When I click on the link it takes me to the nike plus site. I'm happy you started this group!

Haven't bought the sport band....heard a lot of good things about it. I stick with the nano....I gotta have tunes to listen to when I run....keeps me motivated, especially during the last 1/3 of my workout.

the Barelas Run is a route I made up on nikeplus.com. sorry about the link. I call it that because I run from my place downtown, up Central, down 4th all the way to Bridge, and then I come back again. It's an interesting, urban run.
