Get notified about group discussions

Want to stay on top of new discussions in a DCF group? There's hidden functionality that will notify you when a new discussion starts.

Here's how:

1. Go to the page for groups you've joined.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the discussions list and click View All.

3. On the Discussions page, scroll all the way down to the bottom and click Notify to be emailed when new discussions are started. NOTE: You must be a member of a group to see this Notify option.

Permalink Reply by chantal on August 3, 2008 at 11:27am: Nmtnmama, thanks for this! I had tested with my Admin access account which seems to show the Notify button for all groups whether I've joined or not. I've just retested with a non-Admin account and you're right.

Adelita, I can't find a way currently for group admins to be notified of new members. Let's add it to the Ning feature request list.; ▶ Reply to This
