Want to stay on top of new discussions in a DCF group? There's hidden functionality that will notify you when a new discussion starts.

Here's how:

1. Go to the page for groups you've joined.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the discussions list and click View All.

3. On the Discussions page, scroll all the way down to the bottom and click Notify to be emailed when new discussions are started. NOTE: You must be a member of a group to see this Notify option.

Chantal, is there a way for group administrators to be notified when someone joins your group?

Note that you need to be a member of that group to see the Notify button.

Nmtnmama, thanks for this! I had tested with my Admin access account which seems to show the Notify button for all groups whether I've joined or not. I've just retested with a non-Admin account and you're right.

I've updated the post accordingly. Thx!

Adelita, I can't find a way currently for group admins to be notified of new members. Let's add it to the Ning feature request list.

I wish it was possible to get an overview in the "My groups page" it will tell you when the most recent activity was but not what it was.
