Does anybody know if they are still going to open in Abq? or when?

Permalink Reply by Tony on August 28, 2008 at 1:11pm: There used to be several in town.....one across from UNM on University and Central, another at Central and Wyoming, another on Montgomery, and the one you mention on San Mateo and Lomas. They all shut down after Jack In The Box had some problems with E.Coli in the early 90's. The franchisee for Southern Colorado and most of New Mexico had to file for bankruptcy, and shut down.

Permalink Reply by Masshole in Fringecrest on August 28, 2008 at 10:16am: I'm guessing it's where Claremont crosses Carlisle? There's a Whataburger and a McDonalds there now, but the shopping centre where the McDonalds is would probably support another drive thru no doubt.

Also, there's a little announcement sign at San Pedro & Central that says "coming soon." There used to be a gas station / repair shop there...; ▶ Reply to This
