Bombay Grill closed??

i just read that my favorite indian restaurant in abq closed down this week. does anyone have any information about what happened? this was the one place that the whole family could agree upon, and my kids (5 and 7) both chose it for their birthday dinners last year. the management and staff were always wonderful and treated us like royalty. the food was the best indian that i have found in town (though I still miss the bay area and devon avenue in chicago...)

Hi Michael,
We have looked into your information and it looks like its an error in the answering machine message. We have reliable information that the building has be sold by the owners. I am not sure if the new owners will reopen it as a restaurant. So Bombay Grill is closed for sure.

We went across the street to the other Indian place which isn't as good. The Bombay Grill owners do still run India Palace in Santa Fe.

The former chef from Bombay Grill is still cooking has moved up the hill in RR to a new spot called Namaste in Rio Rancho behind Hot Tomales.

Yes they have lunch buffet.
