Yup. A little crazy coming back in the dark through those twisties, but fun :) I hope the pace was good. I tried to slow it up a bit about halfway through.

You were leading the pack and Merrilou and I fell back a ways. So you and Merrilou did not have the benefit of the bike in front of you to add to your headlight. From experience, I know that bike headlights are not enough on a very dark road. You and Merrilou did great in the dark. The rest of us just hitched a ride on the headlights in front of us .
Night riding is an exercise in faith...faith that you will be able to react quick enough if danger appears in your headlight at the last moment.
Agreed, that was much fun. Sorry I forgot to mention that I'm painfully shy around new people. Next time I'll make sure to pipe up a bit more. I promise :)
Great people, great ride, good food, no furry critters crossing the road .. who could ask for for .. thank you all for letting me ride with you .... I enjoyed it a bunch .. looking forward to more rides !!

Yep, even though the deer crossing lights were flashing. It was a fun ride! Thanks for leading, NN. GG and I headed back on Tramway too, and down Montano. Quite the thermo-cline temperature change just past Tijeras, eh?

Over on AMRG you mentioned my old habit of chasing cottontails. I still chase them but not by choice anymore. I've been "challenged" by several on night rides and one actually stood his ground as my front and back tire went over him. Thump, thump. Scratch one wabbit.
