Local Mystery Writers

Let's hear from any mystery writers among us (or potential mystery writers). There are many mystery writers throughout New Mexico, and quite a large concentration of them here in the Duke City.

And those of you out there who have favorite local writers, please share with us who those folks are and tell us about their books.

Permalink Reply by Paula on September 9, 2008 at 9:14pm: I really like this up & coming writer... she just finished her first mystery novel. It's not yet published, but I got a sneak-peak at it. Her name is Patricia Wood and I think she has great promise!!

Another terrific local writer is Margaret Tessler. I enjoy the way she tells a story. She has three books out. I've read two of them, so far.
Another of my favorites is Michael McGarrity. I only recently discovered his books & I love them! I have had the opportunity to meet him twice now. He's a very interesting guy. I really enjoy the way he paints with words. I can see the New Mexico landscapes he describes. I feel like I'm there!

Well, that's my 2 cents worth. How about someone else?
